Franz Schubert's popular Piano Quintet in A Major was composed when he was only 22 years old. Nicknamed the "Trout Quintet," the fourth movement is a set of variations on Schubert's earlier lied "Die Forelle" (The Trout). Toledo Symphony Principal Cellist is featured in Johannes Brahms' Piano Trio No. 1 in B major, Op. 8.
