SUMMARY:Snow White
DESCRIPTION:In a faraway Kingdom lived a young Princess known as Snow White. The kind and beautiful girl lived under the rule of her jealous stepmother\, the Evil Queen. Until recently\, when the Evil Queen asked her Magic Mirror who the fairest of them all was\, the Mirror replied\, “You\, Your Majesty.” Outraged\, the Queen orders a Huntsman to kill Snow White. The Huntsman spares the Princess\, and she escapes into the forest and is met with kind woodland creatures and seven curious dwarves. As Snow White adjusts to life in the cottage\, the Queen uncovers the truth and returns to plotting Snow White’s downfall. The Queen disguises herself as an old woman and tricks Show White into eating a poisoned apple. Snow White falls for the trick and drifts into a wakeless sleep. A Prince\, enchanted by the tales he had heard of Snow White\, sets off to find her and break her curse. Snow White awakens with a kiss\, and the Queen\, furious once more\, mounts another attack but is defeated by the dwarves. Snow White and the Prince return to the castle to wed\, and begin their reign of kindness\, leading their kingdom with wisdom and grace. Snow White and her Prince live Happily Ever After.  \nThis performance is almost sold-out. To inquire about ticket availability\, please contact the Box Office at 419.246.8000.

SUMMARY:Black Panther Live in Concert
DESCRIPTION:In 2018\, Marvel Studios’ Black Panther quickly became a global sensation and cultural phenomenon\, showing a new dimension of what superhero films could be. Rolling Stone raved\, “The film lights up the screen with a full-throttle blast of action and fun. That’s to be expected. But what sneaks up and floors you is the film’s racial conscience and profound\, astonishing beauty.” Now you can relive the excitement of T’Challa becoming king and battling Killmonger all while the Toledo Symphony performs Ludwig Göransson’s Oscar®-winning score live to picture.

SUMMARY:A Bernstein Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Conductor and composer\, performer and educator\, and an inspiration to generations of musicians\, Leonard Bernstein’s musical legacy extends across genres. We honor Bernstein’s achievements across the stage\, screen\, and concert hall. The poised\, almost bubbly Candide Overture is contrasted with the dramatic\, almost tragic music that underpins the movie On the Waterfront. Canadian virtuoso Marc-Andre Hamelin joins the TSO as the piano soloist for Bernstein’s wide-ranging Second Symphony\, a piano concerto in all but name.
